Privacy Policy
Summary
Skypiece does not collect, store on our servers, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind.
Location
Skypiece asks for your location (while using the app) only to show the weather where you are. Your coordinates are used on your device and are sent to Apple WeatherKit to receive the forecast. We never receive them and they are not linked to your identity. You can also choose a city by hand. Apple handles WeatherKit requests under the Apple WeatherKit privacy notice.
Data on your device
Your chosen widgets, colors, city and settings are stored only on your device, in the app and its widgets (shared through an App Group). Alerts for rain, storms and UV are local notifications scheduled on your device. Nothing leaves your device for this.
Purchases
Subscriptions and one-time purchases are handled entirely by Apple (App Store). We do not see your payment details or Apple ID. We only learn, through StoreKit on your device, whether Skypiece Pro is active.
Third parties
Skypiece contains no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs. The only external service is Apple WeatherKit.
Children
Skypiece collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing to access, correct or delete on our side. You can remove all local data by deleting the app, and you can revoke location access at any time in Settings.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
